Kids On Guard Charity Event
May 20th, 2009 12:52 PM

May 21st, the Thursday before the Memorial Day weekend, my networking group is hosting a charity event. Our group has adopted the kids on guard foundation as our little project. Kids on guard is a charity that provides activites for our military children as their parents are deployed. Many of these kids have both parents deployed at the same time and need a break to have fun and laugh.

Please join me at Jack Astors in Crossroads near Bjs, on May 21st any time between 5-8. They will donate 10% of whatever you purchase to go towards our goal of $1000.

Thanks for your support. happy Memorial Day!!!

The new Home Valuation Code of Conduct- HVCC, New IRS 4506-T Requirements
May 6th, 2009 2:17 PM

There is some new legislation being past that will effect how we do loans from here on out.

Effective May 1st, 2009 no lender, broker or employee may influence, or attempt to imfluence, the appraisal.

Because of how we must order the appraisals now, we must request a check at the time of application for the amount to cover the appraisals.

The code also requires that the borrower receive a copy of the final appraisal three business days prior to closing. The condition for the earliest closing date will be calculated based on the date the final appraisal is in the borrowers possession.

Effective May 4th, 2009 to protect comsumers and aggressively mitigate fraud, most lenders will require you to sign the IRS form 4506-T. They more than likely will execute their right to pull your taxes 07 and 08 to make sure all information provided is accurate.

Please call or email me with any questions on the new legislation. Thanks,
